Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I support our strategic programmes and gain an insight into our sustainability pre sales teams. I also work closely with our CSR partners and help make internal opportunities available.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, particularly during the end of my placement. For example, I was given the opportunity to run my own end to end project from planning to execution.

I have developed my interpersonal skills including confidence, presenting, and time management. I have also become more family with SAP terminology and solutions as well as how the different roles work together to deliver a project end to end.

I received as much support as I required, depending on how independent I’d like to be. Especially during my 1:1 meetings, this helped me stay on track and ensure I grew over the course of my placement.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

There is a great, positive, and friendly environment at SAP. Lots of employees are more than happy to take some time out to discuss your development and provide support where possible!
