Aligned to different LOBs or industries and you own the execution side marketing for those areas. It’s a full all round role where you get to experience everything. It’s varied so no day is similar however you have standard social posts, newsletters, and project management.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, took ownership of most events from an execution side and maintained stakeholder relationships.

Really enjoyed all the opportunities both networking and work related. The skills and connections I’ve gained are very valuable. You’ll really push yourself out of your comfort zone and grow in this placement.

What advice would you give to others applying to SAP
Be yourself, be open to learning and networking. Everyone is wanting to help you so don’t be afraid to ask. A placement year is to learn, no one is expecting you to know everything, just be someone who shows determination. Research the company.
