Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

As an Information Systems Associate I work on a variety of projects, supporting IT staff in managing applications and infrastructures using a wide range of technologies such as VR, AR and Microsoft suite. I use Windows Operating Systems; at Desktop level, plus any other IT related Systems. I am responsible for completing maintenance and ensure all Incident or Service Request/Jobs are actioned as per the Service Level Targets.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I had lots of responsibilities. I worked on loads of projects- where in some i was working independently and some with team members. In both cases I had real responsibilities and tasks to do and goals to meet.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

A lot. I had 121 with my manager every other week and a 121 with my buddy every other week. We also had the placements team right behind us and my entire team ti guide me. Everyone in the business is willing to guide and help you
