Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My role is focused on demand management and generation. This includes assisting with activities such as customer engagement plans, demand execution meetings, forecasting and sales planning. Day to day I surface information for the head of UKI Demand management to be executed. I also collaborated with internal stakeholders to ensure that demand generating actives are completed and well documented.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was provided with plenty of responsibility throughout my placement. This ranged from compelling spreadsheets to documenting the planning and execution of long term project.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I have enhanced a plethora of new skills including project management, problem solving skills and communication. I’m conjunction I have learnt new skills such as data analysis, demand planning and process improvement. I have also become proficient in SAP software an example being SAP SAC and success factors.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed my placement very much. The constant support from my manager and wider team made me fell that I could be inquisitive and further my professional development.
