Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Pilot scale trials to validate/confirm lab based work and tailor this to the EU factory plants for large scale production.
Supply chain support and solving issues that are occurring in large scale production by performing pilot trials and recording outcomes.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

A large amount of independent work was given to me after my onboarding was completed which was very beneficial to my professional development and confidence
