Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
On a day to day basis my role involves making sure the users experience on and across our leaving platforms is seamless. I work with people internally and externally to make sure we have the right learning content available when and where we need it.

I was given a lot of responsibility! I led my own projects often, and was trusted to work with people internally and externally to solve problems and think of new innovative ideas

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone is friendly and happy to help where you need. The different offices have different atmospheres based on how busy they are, but all are very nice

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I have enjoyed my placement so far. It can be challenging at the start to get used to a full time job in a big, busy organisation, however you soon pick up your day to day jobs you need to do.

What advice would you give to others applying to Unilever
Ask all the questions you can, and don’t be afraid to come up with new and fresh ideas. Say yes to every opportunity and speak to your line manager about priorities to make yourself not feel overwhelmed and stressed with workload
