Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Throughout this placement I have had the opportunity to focus on various parts of my brand. I specifically focused on one project and got to work very closely with it before and after it launched. I also got to work on the planning and execution of different media campaigns, such as a TikTok influencers campaign, where I got to lead it by firstly approving their idea and then approving their videos and captions. Additionally, I also got to focus on growing my brand's social media, specifically the TikTok.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Throughout this placement I have been able to have a high amount of responsibility. As I am part of a small team and am part of the target audience I have had the opportunity to give my opinion in most projects as well as the opportunity to lead other projects.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
This placement has given me the opportunity to be very independent. I have got to lead some projects as well as given my opinion on others. This has allowed me to develop higher responsibility skills. Additionally, coming from University where we had a couple of lectures a day to a 9 pm to 5 am I have had to enhance my time management skills.

Throughout my placement I was given a lot of support from both my manager, my team and my company. Everyone at this company is very helpful and even when we have the smallest questions that might seem irrelevant, they are always happy to help us understand and to give us support as needed.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture as well as the general atmosphere is very friendly and helpful. Even when we have the smallest questions or questions that might seem irrelevant, they are always happy to help us understand and to give us support or guide us to who can support us as needed.

Having had the opportunity of being part of a small team and being part of the target audience I have had the opportunity to give my opinion in most projects as well as the opportunity to lead other projects. In my opinion, I think it is important for someone to be curious and ask as many questions as they might have as everyone is always ready to answer and will allow you to extend your knowledge and skills throughout your placement. Additionally, it is also important to stay aware of the trends in the market.
