Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
On the first day there was an introduction on AlphaSights followed by interactive events describing the BREAD process, where we could also practice what we learned, and a desk yoga session. On the second day there were conversations with associates and VPs about their journeys and current positions at AlphaSights, followed by a group exercise where we got to practice the BE-part of the BREAD process, an individual assessment and a professional development seminar.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was interesting to learn more about the process and what the job actually entails. There are some things that sound obvious when you hear them but you don't think about until you have heard them.

I got to learn more about the BREAD process and how it is put into practice. Especially how one can structure up cold and warm calls, and some tips on negotiation.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It is difficult to say as it was all done online and we couldn't see interactions in the office. There was however a positive and open environment during the event and the associates, managers and, VPs that we did get to meet seemed really kind.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I enjoyed it a lot. It was very high paced and the sessions on the BREAD process could be longer on the first day as we didn't have time to complete all the tasks during the engage and assess session. It was interesting to be put so quickly in these situations and get to immediately see what I have to improve on to get the results I want.

Read the website as it is pretty clear what the job entails from there. Search up possible competitors so you know what distinguishes AlphaSights from the rest and so that you learn more about the industry if this is something you never heard of before.
