Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The insight days consisted of connecting candidates with associates from the client service team, presenting their tasks and day to day activities, while hosting workshops and presenting the firm.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
I truly enjoyed talking with the vice presidents of AlphaSights' different segments. Their perspectives on various business areas, how they operated and the impact of the sanitary crisis were enriching and inspiring.

As associates presented their tasks and subsequently encouraged candidates to undertake them, I developed some of the skills required as an associate: oral communication, efficiency, negotiation skills.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to AlphaSights
Prepare questions as we were given a lot of time to clarify our doubts and queries. Show you are curious and want to make the most of your time with the staff. Make sure you understand the taks you will be asked to undertake during the group and interview exercises. Use the breaks to practice with friends/family members. Finally, put yourself out there, participate when given the opportunity and don't hesitate to speak your mind.
