Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

We were paired with two supervisors, a Trainee and an Associate, and we would help them on given tasks. We would also have group presentations/events to learn more about the firm as a whole and as a chance to connect with the other students.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

It was very insightful because we were given both direct involvement which taught us about day-to-day tasks but also we were told about what would happen further along in the career and what was expected of us at all stages.

Yes, I further developed my researching skills and critical analysis. This was done when reading articles and agreements. I also improved my people skills, communication, and writing.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The firm was full of lovely people who were willing to take time to help and answer any questions we had. Everyone made us feel comfortable and were very involved in our tasks and overall experience. The general atmosphere is very friendly, and hard-working.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

I fully enjoyed the insight scheme and am so grateful to have been able to take part. Not only was it an amazing experience career-wise, it was a great opportunity to meet new people that you can keep in touch with after.
