Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
A day in the life involves completing projects set by Trainee Recruitment and also your principal who you shadow during this period, attending talks and workshops, as well as meeting with other departments and your trainee buddy to gain a broader insight into the sector. You can also potentially attend client meetings, and various social events are held during your time here.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was really interesting to broaden my understanding of what a job at Linklaters entails.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I’ve learnt to really value the importance of flexibility and time management more broadly, to understand the task at hand and respect my social commitments but also make sure I have free time to complete what I need to for work as well. Confidence asking questions and seeking clarity is key!

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture is the best amongst the magic circle and the US firms by far. It is truly undeniably the best firm I have had an experience at and I felt welcomed here
