Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Each day was quite varied and different across the week. I attended a range of department overviews as well as team meetings. I was given tasks to work through during the week such as researching for case studies and presentations, workplace posts and quizzes.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was insightful and interesting to learn more about the different career paths and options within real estate. There is a wide range of careers that align with different interests, making it a diverse work environment. This week was really useful to learn more about the business as a whole and the industry in more detail.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone was extremely welcoming and helped me during my week. I felt welcomed and even though a lot of the tasks and environment was new to me, I felt that everything ran smoothly. The company seems very good at looking after its employees which I admire.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really enjoyed the insight as it helped me to understand more about Savills as a company but also the real estate industry as a whole. I was able to network with industry professionals which helped me to see their career development pathways and see how my interests align with the different jobs roles available in the company. This week was very interesting and face-paced at times which I enjoyed. I was given useful tasks and real responsibility that made the work I did feel important. Thank you.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savills
I would suggest to apply to Savills as you never know what the outcome could be; it could end up being a role you really thrive in! I didn't know much about real estate before coming to Savills, as so this opportunity gave the chance to quickly absorb and pick up a lot of crucial information about how the industry has changed over the past few years and where it is headed. The tasks were really useful and gave me greater insight of what working for a company like Savills is like.
