Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Communication with Supplier and Key Stakeholders within the Business.
Understanding requirements and shaping them into a scope for Supplier Deliverables.
Maintaining supplier relations.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes. I have been given a lot of projects to work on and responsibility within the workplace. Most of the time I don't consider myself an intern but part of a team within the business. Working on important projects has given me a sense of value and keeps me driven to work. The work has also been very enjoyable.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

The support that has been provided to me has been excellent. From my first day I have had 2/3 people I can ask for advise and having a network of people to ask for help who aren't directly managers has helped me grow massively.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Very positive. As an intern there isn't any pressure for you to succeed but the opportunities are there if you wish to take on extra responsibility and in doing so you are recognised for hard work. If you need support or training it is never overlooked. Everyone is looking out for one another to help them succeed.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I have enjoyed working or Boeing a lot. I have made lots of friends working here. The extensive early careers programme means there are lots of interns/ grads of a similar age to you to socialise with. Every person I have worked with has been interesting and easy to talk to. If you ask anyone for help it is never overlooked no matter if its their job or not. The culture is inclusive of everyone.
