Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

The insight event involved a hackathon followed by an Amazon Software Engineer Panel Q&A. Lastly, there was a session on the application process and next steps.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

The Amazon Software Engineer Panel Q&A was really useful for understanding what different roles at Amazon are like. It was also a really good opportunity to ask any questions I had about the process and roles.

The culture and general atmosphere was really friendly and supporting. Everyone involved was very motivating and encouraged thinking big and being curious.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

I really enjoyed the insight programme as I learned a lot about the company and its different organisations. I was also able to refine my programming skills and have the opportunity to be fast-tracked onto an internship next summer.
