Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

It began with an Amazon Engineer panel, where she explained what working at amazon is like and what her responsibilities are. Later on the hackathon was introduced and we worked on it for 1 hour and 45 min. Lastly there were two more panels one with many engineers from amazon talking about their experience and giving valuable advice to us and one of the hiring managers spoke about the hiring process and gave us tips.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

The roles available, weren't touched on much. The focus of the even was to hire software engineers mostly. I would like a more detailed description of other roles related as well in the future.

I have experienced my first ever hackathon and I achieved the 14th position, getting a taste of what hackathons are like and seeing where there is room for improvement when it comes to my coding and stress management skills.
