Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The day started with introductions before we started the hackathon, where we were asked to complete 6 questions using code. it then finished with a judging panel, prizes, the Amazon Software Engineer Panel Q&A swell as further information on the application process which was really insightful and very helpful for future candidates
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was interesting and very eye opening, I never realised there were so many pathways into roles like software design engineering.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have developed a lot of (limited) python skills as it was a really fun and challenging event. I felt it really pushed me to my abilities and it has made me realise my areas for improvement and where I really need to focus and work on the gaps in my coding ability.

It seemed very lovely and welcoming! Everyone seemed very passionate about what they do and that excitement was conveyed through their behaviour
