Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Fully virtual event, only lasting ~6 hours which consisted of a brief introduction and explanation, then 1hr 45 hackathon via HackerRank with problems of actually significant difficulty (with prizes :D ). From there, talking from different people at Amazon in different software-related positions in terms of experience and history.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was good, there was a general coverage of how the business worked as well as the internal culture and working environment, and the experience from various people covering their distinct experiences entering Amazon through different avenues was interesting and gave a good general overview of how you can enter and progress and get experience

Certainly worked on and improved my ability programming and problem-solving across the various problems in the hackathon, then learned generally about the culture at Amazon and received insight from people at Amazon in software-related areas.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Seemed very nice and inclusive, with a good expression that there's significant room to grow and improve and that you'll receive adequate assistance from those around you; Lots of personal anecdotes gave some good examples and helped as reassurance, and it seemed like generally everyone is helpful and inclusive

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
It was somewhat enjoyable, the hackathon was definitely interesting and enjoyable, though I'm personally not a massive fan of HackerRank. Good experience overall, didn't take up too much time and gave some good information.

There's not much to really say in this case, there was a basic online application where you also gave your CV, and then a very quick invite through.
