Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The spring week consisted of talks from different divisions of the banks, strength/ networking sessions and a whole day of technical training. The experience was very insightful as it gave me an opportunity to learn more about a career in the global markets and explore my options
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was very insightful as it taught me about various roles available in the global markets division that I previously wasn’t aware of. Also, for the roles I was aware of, I could learn more about them in detail and learn what a day in the life in that role could entail.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have developed a wide range of skills which include soft and technical skills. The networking skills sessions and opportunities provided by the panels reinforced my confidence in my interpersonal skills. The day of training also taught me so much about the global markets sector and removed any confusion about any technical terms that I previously had.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture was very friendly and I felt very welcomed from the first day of the spring insight program. Everyone was really happy to answer my questions and provide really useful advice for my career
