Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Introduction to the branches of the bank, panels, talks and Q&A on the different roles in the bank, technical training on markets, simulation of asset management and trading, networking opportunities
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was quite illuminating — I did not realise that there was such a broad range of roles within the Global Markets of BNP, and that there was so much variability between each desk. It made me feel like there was a place for a diverse range of strengths.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It was a friendly atmosphere — the speakers and professionals that I had the opportunity to speak to were all very patient and inviting. Everyone spoke warmly of the culture, and it was impressive to see that some people had chosen to cultivate their entire career within the bank.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I enjoyed the insight very much. It was a good opportunity to meet new people and make friends, alongside some very interesting technical lessons that unpacked some previously-confusing concepts. I enjoyed the interactive elements of various workshops, and found the engagement of fellow participants to elevate the experience.
