Enterprise Marketing Associate Review

My role is a marketing role focusing on the client lifecycle and client advocacy activities. This is supplying clients with resources and information about their SAP concur solutions. On a day to day basis some of the activities I do are creating newsletters, webinars and supporting the wider marketing team.

I was given a lot more responsibility than expected. I think the trust that was shown was incredible and my manager/team believing in me was really good for my own development too. I was responsible for running and setting up events on my own as well as sending content the thousands of clients.

I have learnt and developed so many skills throughout the year. For example my interpersonal skills have developed massively as I have met so many new people. I have also developed my networking skills going from pretty much no network and no linkedIn to hundreds of contacts on linkedIn. Some of the other skills I have developed are time management, communication skills and team working etc.

I received a huge amount of guidance and support over the year as I had a manager and buddy who I worked with everyday. They supported me with work and my development goals continuously. This support was also shown from the rest of my team who would always be there to help and guide me as well as from the placement team.

The culture of the company was great. It is a supportive and happy place to work. Everyone is like minded and happy to help. I feel like this made life and work and work from home a lot easier throughout the year. The general atmosphere was also good and I always felt included.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at SAP and have learnt so much about the corporate world. The skills I have developed and the people who I have met have shown me that SAP is a great place to work. I have been exposed to so many different things, projects and tasks that I did not expect and it has helped kickstart my career.
