The role entails ensuring pension schemes are meeting their liabilities and that they have enough resources for that. It involves creating monthly and quarterly reports on different pension schemes, and ESG check-ups on the asset managers. Moreover, there is an element of research involved; i.e. research on a certain asset class need to be carried out, and quarterly the findings need to be shared with the wider Isio team.

I was given a fair amount of responsibility. It is mainly due to my proactiveness; there is important work available should you be willing to take it.

Yes, I learned new concepts, like buy and maintain, LDIs, and extended my technical skills in Excel and proprietary platforms of Isio. Moreover, I developed interpersonal skills, on how to handle clients and meetings with asset managers.

I received mentorship not only from my buddy and my performance manager, but from seniors from different offices as well. Everyone is highly helpful and genuinely work in your best interest.

The atmosphere was very friendly and prompted you to ask for help. Everyone is willing to help; there is no hierarchy; if a junior member knows something better, the seniors will not disregard their thoughts.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and would encourage everyone to apply for it. It is steady work, that does not require long hours. It is challenging at times, but nothing that cannot be tackled.
