Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Researched key ESG topics within the industry and considered current market themes on sustainability. Critically assessed the findings, considering various angles and produced white papers. Supported the team with the client-side of things. This involved team meetings and learning Isio’s consulting key to understand key investment advisory processes and apply it myself to future clients.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, on many occasions I was responsible for producing the initial draft of a white paper. I also had 2i responsibilities within the investment side of things.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Fantastic. It was warm and welcoming, and I very quickly felt like I fitted in. It was a very inclusive environment and this was also supported the open office space enabling plenty of social events.
