I worked with my team and utilised internal/external technology on a daily basis to enable brands to deliver the best consumer experience possible. For example, this can be through the use of chatbots on brand websites or ensuring that brand websites load quickly and have little/no issues. Using and driving awareness of data of brand websites.

I was given a lot of freedom and responsibility within my role. Opportunities to work closely with brands in different markets and given exposure to senior leadership with the work I produced.
Once I had settled in, the responsibility definitely increased and this helped me to build my knowledge but also gain confidence.

My presentation skills were definitely the most improved whilst on placement as I was given many opportunities to present to a range of groups (from 1/2 people to 200 people).
Another skill that was improved was my communication skills - working with colleagues in different markets and cultures definitely helped to improve this.

I had a great support bubble whilst on placement. My team were a great source of support - both on an informal friendship level and also when it came to work. We were also provided with multiple 'buddies' who are graduates which helped to speak to someone who was in our position. They provided a great support bubble :)

The company culture is something that I struggle to describe. Unilever is a company that cares about you as a person - you aren't just another number within a business but someone who feels valued.
Their ethics and purposes echo throughout the business and across all brands.

I really enjoyed the placement due to a number of factors - my team, the culture, the work I was provided with and just an opportunity to learn.
I would definitely love to come back to Unilever as a graduate or as an full-time employee.
