Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Hybrid Internship working 2 days in Analytics, 3 days in Product.
Analytics:
The internship mainly involves classroom for these days where you learn about Finance, how clients use Bloomberg, Risk, Sales & Trading, Fixed Income... A lot was interesting, some was repetitive.
Product:
Here I worked within a team that manages Bloomberg's trading automation product. Really interesting. My project involved on one side working with a US engineer to design a new database, and on the other side visulaising data in QlikSense. Learnt plenty of stuff about buy-side best trading execution.
