Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Working in your project which involves a real-life problem the firm have. I had to identify cases where the extraction process of Investor Reports was failing. Additionally, there are multiple opportunities to network and have conversations with Managers and Global Heads.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

You are given a real problem within your team which can actually have an important and tangible effect on the team's workflow. I would argue the internship's project has the potential to be very important.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The environment is very collaborative and employees are very friendly and approachable. Having coffee chats or shadowing analyst tasks is a very common thing at Bloomberg.
