Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I act as an assistant to the valuer's in the commercial valuation team, where I have helped to piece together reports mainly focusing on the due diligence and market commentary side of things.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes I'd say so as I have been given the responsibility to start the reports by my self.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I have learnt a lot about the valuation process that I did not know before and I have also learnt about different departments as we have had online zoom calls giving us an insight to each department. I have also further developed my interpersonal skills.

The support I have received has been great, whenever I have been stuck or have had any questions there has been support right away from everyone around me.
