Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Working on helping clients complete their BREEAM in-use accreditations by collating evidence and data that will help with their assessments. Additionally, conducting site visits for ISO14001 audits.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was responsible for completing a large part of assessments for individual clients and uploading evidence onto the official BREEAM portal.

I had a huge amount of support and guidance from the friendly sustainability team in Manchester and even the London consultants were extremely helpful.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It was never a highly pressurised or cut-throat environment. Everyone is very willing to collaborate and help each other. Savills is definitely a forward thinking company.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I enjoyed it because the team were amazing, and it definitely gave me a great insight into the corporate environment and how sustainability is tackled in that space. I enjoyed the opportunities to get out of the office and do external site visits and to meet other members of the team.
