Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
It involved daily sessions about how law firms operate, information about interviews and CVs and applying commercial awareness and debating skills on contentious matters e.g; Climate change, war & political voice. It also involved networking with apprentices and shadowing trainees or apprentices of our preferred legal sector to gain a realistic understanding of working at a law firm. The insight included Q&a with trainees and apprentices about pathways into law and how their experiences differed.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Understanding all about the business and potential roles in a work experience program was greatly insightful. It provided a comprehensive overview of the different aspects of the legal industry and the various roles and sectors available. It allowed me to explore my interests, gain valuable knowledge, and consider potential career paths. Overall, it was a valuable experience that helped me make more informed decisions about my future.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The environment was filled with motivated individuals who were willing to answer any questions about law and their work at the law firm and were very passionate about what they do. Overall, it was a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight as it was a great experience in gaining a deeper understanding of the legal field and the opportunity to learn about law firms, engage in mock debates, and network with professionals was both educational and enjoyable. It was a fantastic chance to develop my skills and broaden my perspective.
