Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I was involve in optimizing an energy park technically and commercially. Day-to-day I focused on the technical, civil aspects, as well as helped create a commercial model
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
My role ad a lot of responsibility, as they relied on my team to develop a model for them, to take forward into the development of the energy park and use at other sites in the future.

I have developed loads of new skills. the main ones I would say an understanding of the energy market, how to present properly and efficiently, as well as developed an understanding of the energy market.

I was supported constantly throughout, with daily meetings with my line manager as well as a 1 to 1 once a week with them.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It was a great atmosphere, everyone was eager and keen to work, but also keen to help me if i needed any information I needed and responded quickly and with enthusiasm.

What advice would you give to others applying to Centrica
They work hard to make sure you are happy and are adaptable, if you are unhappy with something or want to switch stream for example, they'll accommodate that.
