Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Sit in on weekly updates regarding different products performance on the website. Conducted research through Adobe Analytics to help up-lift and optimise page performance. Assisted in page redesign to maximise KPI'S
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Over my projects I was given sufficient autonomy; especially with one project that I felt was mine to take lead on. However others I feel that my role and responsibility was very minor.

The team were really welcoming and supportive. My line manager didn't deal with me directly, which would've been nice to have some guidance from - especially in the first couple of weeks.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Very friendly and welcoming, surprisingly casual. Really liked the recognition scheme whereby employees recognise others for good things.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
The Early Careers team at Centrica were super supportive and welcoming in the beginning, giving us the opportunity to watch presentations on motivation and well-being in the workforce, as well as presentations on time management and planning. The other interns were all really nice, and fostered a friendly collaborative environment. I enjoyed gaining insights into E-commerce and corporate life from a market leading perspective. The final presentation was a good opportunity to demonstrate my development.

Have a clear idea of the different Business Units, and roles among streams. This will help during your application whereby you have a better idea of which area you want to go into, and therefore have a more accurate fit with your expectations
