Job summary
To develop computer software as part of a project team encompassing all stages of the
software development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
1. Produce designs, code, test suites and documentation to meet the requirements of the
project at hand, under the direction of your Task Manager.
2. Engage with any quality processes in place (e.g. peer review) to ensure the project
delivers high quality software with low defect rates.
3. Manage your time to produce deliverables effectively and efficiently with the goal of
achieving high productivity against the project plan.
4. Engage with your own personal development and training to improve your skills and
expertise, under the guidance of your Line Manager.
5. Liaise with colleagues, customers and suppliers (where required) in a professional and
competent manner.
6. Report the status of your tasks in a thorough and timely fashion.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Not too much as my project got set back so I didn't have a project to work on, but I had lots of responsibility with the website

I have learnt a lot about creating websites and how the front end and back end communicate. I've also learnt about reactjs and nextjs and how to code in these languages, and how to setup databases with C# and entity framework.
