Certain tasks had a deadline but in general I wasn't given too much responsibility.

Lot's of new excel skills and also improved on my knowledge of financial statements and linking different files and extracting data.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Incredible. Hard-working and friendly people who are very knowledgeable in their area but are happy to explain things to others. Lots of goo discussions and people are very thoughtful. No feeling of hierachy.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed it. It was an amazing first step into the corporate world. I wish I could have learnt more by doing more tasks but I also understand that some tasks require a lot of training and being here for 8 weeks makes it a little harder. It was great to meet my fellow interns and socialise in that respect too. I also really enjoyed week 1 of the internship programme.
