Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Helping the KPO’s with specific tasks to drive improvements for the sites in line with the roadmap from heads of Europe. Making sure teams are keeping up to date with OES / OST’s and keeping the data reporting tool up to date in terms of process confirmation, SQCDP, thresholds, projects and all others.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Given a serious amount of responsibility and the ability to change, myself and another intern managed to change data reporting all the way across Europe with a method we designed. Airbus D&S record data from KPIs in a more robust way across Europe from the work me and 1 other intern from another site designed.

Skills surrounding the space sector and how it operates across the whole of Europe inc. France, Spain, UK and Germany working with people from across all the sites. Delivering Lean Improvement Projects on Quality, on Time and on Cost. (5S, Visual management, VSM, Flow Analysis, KPIs)

Tremendous amount of support from all the different teams across multiple sites across Europe and from our own team too. Everyone is willing to help and really let you grow professionally!!
