Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I was able to assist on site visits and inspections. This was really interesting and I got to see a number of jobs through from the start to the final report. Everyone in the team was very welcoming and gave me interesting work to do. Savills also provided lots of zoom calls for networking and introductions to different areas of the business.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given a good amount of responsibility and left to get on with work that I alone was accountable for. However, I always felt very supported and could ask any questions at any time.

I received lots of support and guidance from the team. I was included in site inspections and given tasks to do but always felt well supported

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The atmosphere was very positive and everyone in the office was really friendly. We also had a team building day which was very enjoyable and meant I got to know everyone a bit better

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed my placement at Savills. I feel like I learnt so much about the industry and how a fast past business operates. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about the property industry and get valuable experience
