Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Day to day I shadowed my assigned graduate. He structured my days by giving me tasks to fulfill relating to the project hew as working on. I was also involved in site visits, writing reports, proof reading work, writing meeting notes and other general day to day tasks.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Savills were very good at showing all aspects of the business with daily webinars taking place that introduced the different departments within the business. There was also a lot of time given and opportunities to see the different jobs within the company.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
General atmosphere was good. It was welcoming and everyone was keen to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The culture was heavily reliant on team work; if you were unsure on what you were doing there was always someone you could ask for guidance.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I enjoyed the insight because having no prior experience in the role I have now gained great knowledge and insight to what the role entails on a day to day basis and the different career trajectory's from the role.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savills
I would encourage others applying to research the company and have case study examples of different developments that could help you when applying and also on the day to day basis as it gives you the understanding of a building development and the different parties involved in a development.
