Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I assist the property management team with the management of their properties/portfolios. I assist with arrears chasing, reporting to clients and creating reports.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes - I am almost completely responsible for the management of multiple properties across different portfolios.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I have developed my Time Management skills during my time at Savills as the work is more intense with closer deadlines than the university work that was used to.
I have also developed my knowledge of property law as I am need to use it on a day-to-day basis , it is easier to learn.

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I have received a lot of support and guidance throughout my placement year. Especially in the 1st hand over week where the previous placement student introduced me to the team and the properties.
