Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
A lot of coding and exchange of knowledge was involved! Our mentor, Sabarna Chakravarty, was patient and really helpful! We did some live coding and when using the AWS Cloud 9 we shared our screens so he could look, correct and give some tips.
Besides that, the event itself was amazing and I'm grateful for the opportunity!

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was clarifying to learn about the application process from people from inside Amazon. It's still a long process but I'm glad we will have the opportunity of mentorship and I believe that will be very helpful in the process.

I've learned a lot on these two days and got to remember concepts learned through the past two years studying Computer Science.
Our mentor explained every step of the challenges and went through concepts we didn't know or were not sure about, for example, some of the bugs in the Bingo challenge.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
It was a surprise for me, in a good way. I wasn't expecting that so much would be done in two days.
I was also happy to know that Amazon supports diversity. The affinity groups are also a great way to meet new people, specially when you don't live in your home country.
