Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Getting to have a session with mentors to build up coding skills, work on group project and talk about Amazon day to day work day. Interacting with teammates to work on mini projects. Informative talks about building CV, Internship/Interview process, general tips for said process.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was great to see all the different roles and opportunities that are availble to me after I'm done with my college education as in school I found that sometimes they dont discuss the work placement environment very much so I never really had the opportunity to get an insight into it.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have developed a few new skills when working with others. We were instructed to deliberate and discuss certain topic with each other that I wasn't previously used to. It helped to build my team work skills. In doing the coding exercies I also learned far more efficent ways to code certain solutions as my mentor Fedor was very helpful and patient with helping us.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
They were pretty kind and patient with everything espically when we were doing mentoring. The were also VERY quick to get back to you in the lobby if there was a problem which is very appreciated.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I thought was really eye opening to be able to participate with people who are a part of a work environment that is related to my field as its nice to see what is expected of me in the work space.

i would advise them to do mock interviews as doing them in this event helped to give me a general understanding of how the interviews will be in order to be better prepared
