Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Focussed on learning a lot of different skills that would be relevant for the work environment and got to work in a small group to do a bunch of varied engineering related tasks with guidance from a mentor. Also learnt more about the company and the opportunities available for us to attend in the future.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was quite insightful to see what actual engineers get up to on a daily basis and how their schedules were, it cleared some misconceptions that I have on their daily lives.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Improved small aspects of software engineering. Had a long focus on pair programming which I haven't done a lot of before. Relevant team work skills were also focussed on quite a bit.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Very positive with a very strong focus on the leadership principles. Quite a casual environment with a very strong atmosphere on celebrating diversity and the different perspectives that people bring to the company.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
Enjoyed it quite a bit. The more interactive sections such as the workshops were the most enjoyable as they were where we practiced and developed new skills.
