Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
We began the day with the lovely people from Amazon briefing us on what we were going to do for the day. After briefing, we would have a wide range of employees from Amazon tell us more information about the company from the work culture to the values and goal of tge company. We would then be split into small groups to work collaboratively in a workshop together. In this workshop we’d work with AWS and programming challenges and then come back together to give feedback. We would then get some final information after the workshop and close the day
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It is really interesting because it made me understand so much about business and makes me want to learn more about the business on my own

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Yes I have!! I have learned to voice my opinion to new people and also how to collaborate and work together more efficiently. I have also learnt a little about AWS which I was aware of but had never tired before. Overall I really liked this event and learnt a lot

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
I honestly love the company culture at Amazon especially the leadership values outlined! Learning more about the company culture made me feel like I would fit in easily if I was to join Amazon
