Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I work as part of Unilever's global Employer Brand Team, and report to the Global manager for markets and youth.
Some of the key day-to-day tasks are :
1) Weekly LinkedIn Content Admin and approval prior publishing.
2) Establishing EB academy & For the markets by the markets in Cornerstone
3) EB Budget administration
4) Design and Planning of UFLL 2023 End to end Event (Co- project Lead)
5) Execution of Unilever Changemakers programme Activities

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I was encouraged to take ownership of my projects and work on things that I am passionate about! Apart from that I was also given responsibility of important tasks to lead on.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I received the required amount of support during my placement. My line manager, regularly checked-in with me and helped me when I was stuck or needed feedback. We also have regular team calls where we support and guide one-another.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Everyone in the company is approachable, friendly and always willing to help. Being part of a global team, I had the opportunity to speak with people from across the world, which was a wonderful experience for me!

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I thoroughly enjoyed my placement. While it came with challenges, I enjoyed working with different managers in my team as well as different markets. I had the opportunity to explore different avenues within employer brand which was exciting for me. As part of a global team, I also had the opportunity to travel for team meetings which was another great experience!
