Our 2-year Graduate programme at Amey will challenge and inspire you to reach your full potential and build your career with a guaranteed permanent position for you to transition into once you have finished. Throughout your Graduate programme, you will receive first-class mentoring and a structured learning and development programme to enable your professional and personal development. This entry‑level graduate role offers a unique opportunity to build a strong foundation in social value and communications, with a particular focus on delivering measurable outcomes, creating meaningful community impact, and ensuring consistent, high-quality messaging.

The graduate will split their time one day per week with Bradford City Council and four days per week with Amey, gaining insight into how social value and impact initiatives are designed, launched and embedded across both a local authority and a major delivery partner. Over a two‑year rotational programme, the role will provide broad exposure to how people, place and employment focused initiatives are communicated internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the design and delivery of social value initiatives, working with stakeholders and partners to create positive community impact across both Amey and Bradford City Council
  • Building and maintaining relationships to identify opportunities across mentoring, volunteering, fundraising and wider ESG activity
  • Coordinating Social Impact Days and engagement activity to maximise colleague and community participation
  • Tracking, analysing and uploading performance data, using insights to improve delivery and demonstrate impact
  • Creating reports, case studies and communications content to showcase outcomes and raise Amey’s social value profile

What you will bring:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in any subject and a strong focus on social impact.
  • Confident, engaging and comfortable speaking to different audiences and stakeholders
  • Able to attend Bradford once a week
  • A driving licence would be desirable as travel UK is required.
  • Available to join the programme in September 2026.
  • Passion for developing your skills both professional and personally with the drive to complete
  • High level of motivation and initiative; self-starter.

We welcome applications from a diverse range of candidates.
