Kickstart your career while you earn
If you’re finishing school and looking for an alternative to college or sixth form, our Advanced Apprenticeships are the perfect route. You’ll join National Grid as a paid apprentice, combining classroom learning with real-world experience, all while working toward a recognised Level 3 qualification.
What you’ll be doing
- Split your time between practical, on-the-job training and study.
- Work with skilled mentors on projects that keep energy flowing across the UK.
- Develop technical expertise in craftsperson and technician roles.
What you need
- At least 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English Language at grade 4 / C or above).
