Job Description

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Operations/Business Graduate to join Amey Complex Facilities Division.

  • The salary is £28,500 per annum
  • Location: you will be local to Amey, Westmarch House, 42 Eaton Avenue, Matrix Park, Chorley, PR7 7NA
  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday
  • Start Date: September 2026

Amey delivers facilities and estate management services, including planned and reactive maintenance, cleaning, and project management into 59 Prisons on behalf of the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS).

The role is varied and will allow the opportunity to work alongside the operations managers ensuring all matters relating to compliance, quality, health & safety and achieved while getting a better understand of the technical statutory and mandatory delivery, energy, and project requirements of the Facilities Management Industry.

Your Role

  • Providing support to Operations Managers that help them perform their duties quickly and accurately and feedback to the Account Manager.
  • Attending client meetings & preparing monthly reports.
  • Assisting in the operational delivery following compliance requirements
  • Carry out monthly compliance audits both operational & technical.
  • Assist operations manager with the delivery of planned & reactive works throughout the estate review data to help improve delivery.
  • Assist project managers to develop scope of works and price small project works or client change requests.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of action plans to enable proper time, resource, and process management.

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 2:2 Degree in Business Management or Engineering Discipline
  • A driving licence would be desirable.
  • Available to join the programme in September 2026
  • CTC/DBS clearance will be required for this role
