Programme Essentials

To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be:

  • Currently be an undergraduate studying at University and applying for a Placement year in your 2nd or final year
  • Looking for work experience after completing A-Levels or equivalent course or an Apprenticeship
  • Eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from June 2027 - July 2028.
  • We strongly advise that you do not apply to more than 1 Internship role to ensure that you are considered for the Internship that you are most interested in and that your skills are aligned to

What will I be doing?

As a Projects Intern, you will work with the International Media Operations delivery team. Working alongside Project Managers, you will be leading project workstreams and running your small projects to deliver new services for our clients.

You will be managing project reporting, stakeholder engagement, project task creation and ensuring milestones are delivered within the timescales. This will be across a range of projects such as software development, infrastructure builds, business change and new service launches.

What do I need to bring to the role?

  • 1. Capability to work independently, contribute as part of a team or lead and organise a team to achieve a common goal
  • 2. Ability to use a range of communication styles to report on projects to stakeholders and user groups
  • 3. Proactive with interpersonal, written & verbal communication, planning and time management skills
  • 4. Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise, and meet project objectives
  • 5. Flexibility to adapt thinking or solutions to meet specific challenges

What will I learn from this opportunity?

  • Working alongside qualified Project and Programme managers, you will learn about the project management lifecycle. Gaining skills in how to organise and run a project monitoring, risks, issues, milestones and budget.
  • You will learn to work with geographically diverse teams and cultures that International Media Operations supports.
  • You will also learn to work with software development teams, learning processes such as Agile development to support the delivery of your projects.
