Are you a Year 12 student looking to gain real-world experience?

Our Leading with Ambition Work Experience Programme gives you the chance to explore life at MHA, develop valuable skills, and get a taste of what a career in professional services can offer.

At MHA, we know that the right experience can open doors, so we’re offering Year 12 students a week-long placement where you can explore different departments, including accounts, audit, and tax, and discover the incredible opportunities that lie ahead in the world of professional services. Whether you're looking to gain insight into the industry or kickstart your future career, this programme is your chance to see it all – and it could just be the first chapter of your MHA story!

This isn’t your average work experience programme. We offer a hands-on, immersive week where you’ll actively participate in real tasks, get a taste of life at MHA, and experience what it’s like to work in a leading professional services firm.

What Will I Do?

• Explore Different Departments: Get hands-on experience in accounts, audit, and tax.
• Collaborate with Peers: Participate in group projects and build your teamwork skills.
• Learn from Experts: Understand the journey to becoming a chartered accountant.
• Engage in Employability Sessions: Learn how to market yourself and prepare for your next steps.
• Experience MHA’s Culture: Discover what it’s like to be part of our dynamic and supportive team.

Did you know? If you complete the programme and later decide to apply for an apprenticeship with us, you may be able to fast-track your application, subject to performance and eligibility criteria. We’re excited to welcome back some of our recent work experience students who are now joining us as apprentices. For them, the journey doesn’t stop here – it’s just the beginning of their MHA story.
