Job Description

HR - Talent Acquisition, Summer Internship 2026

At L'Oréal we firmly believe that the end of your education doesn’t mark the end of your learning. We’re passionate about ensuring all our employees are constantly developing their skills with on-the-job learning - everything from courses, networking sessions and in house training.

You will...

  • As L'Oréal’s Early Careers Intern you’ll be developing your own skills and knowledge while helping others to do the same. Our Early Careers team oversees Apprentices, Interns and Graduates in our business (almost 250 people!) and works with the business to build great experiences for both the teams and the individuals joining us.

Day-to-day you may be...

  • Supporting Early Careers on developing a learning offering for your fellow Interns, Apprentices and Grads.
  • Executing and managing our onboarding programmes at the following times: Graduates: July & January; Interns: July; Apprentices: September
  • Supporting Generalist HR related tasks: Notetaking in Employee Relations cases; OneProfile moves/Line Manager changes; Occupational health assessments; Candex support
  • Helping to support and manage our Intern & Apprentice Community NextGen, being the link between the Early Careers team and Intern/Apprentice population.
  • Supporting with the monthly roll out of our NPS survey
  • Managing and booking in monthly coffee drop-in sessions for our populations
  • Supporting on ad hoc tasks and projects throughout the year
  • Be responsible for keeping our Early Careers Trackers & team pages up to date with role changes/line manager changes and new starters!

You have...

In order to be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Excellent communication skills: ability to build genuine relationships at all levels
  • Organisation skills: ability to plan, co-ordinate and react quickly to changes, to prioritise and manage your own workload.
  • Attention to detail: ability to analyse data and draw conclusions, you‘ll be able to learn systems quickly and use Excel spreadsheets.
  • Creative thinking: generate new ideas and ways to animate our learning offer e.g. icebreaker games and PowerPoint design
  • Proactivity, with a keen eye for improved efficiency.

You may be required to travel to our other office locations frequently during this internship.

You are...

  • In your second year at University on a course which enables you to take an Industrial Placement Year (unfortunately if you are graduated you are not eligible).

Next steps...

  • Once you click apply you will be asked some questions to check you are eligible for this role. These will be questions around your current situation, whether you’re happy with the salary, location etc.
  • If you are eligible to apply, you will then be sent a link via email to ‘Step 2’ of the application process; the online assessments. Keep an eye out for this (it might even land in your spam folder!). Although there is no deadline for completion, the quicker you submit your answers the quicker we can continue to move you through the process!
  • Once we have your results, our recruiters will conduct a final review of your entire application and if successful, invite you to an Assessment Centre. Please be patient with us as we receive a high volume of applications and want to spend time going through each of them.

Please note, if you apply for more than one role you will be put forward for the one we deem most suitable for you. If you have a strong preference, please only apply to that one role to ensure you are considered for the correct role.
