We are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Analyst to join our team specializing in IT Manufacturing within Cummins Business Services in Huddersfield, UK. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer 2026. The expectation will be for the successful candidate to be onsite Monday to Friday business hours to get the best experience, however, we have a flexible approach and hybrid working can be considered where appropriate.

External Qualifications and Competencies

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Maintain & support business systems and IT infrastructure.
  • Helping to identify & design business and IT solutions.
  • Leading and supporting projects with project management methodology and tasks.
  • Support change & process controls within ITIL methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to support and deliver global initiatives.
  • Analysis of business and user needs with documentation of requirements.
  • Provide team coordination, administration, and operational support.
  • Responsible for the monitoring and control of IT hardware to ensure operational availability.

Additional Responsibilities Unique to this Position

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Studying towards a degree in IT, Business or Project Management.
  • IT Hardware Experience is essential for this position through studies, work experience or personal projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn, analyse, and understand business and technical processes.
  • Must be a team player with ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at one time
