What does this team do?

In today's rapidly evolving tech landscape, cyber security is really important.Our Cyber Transformation Management team empowers organisations to navigate the complex world of cyber security. We work closely with clients to define strategies that align with their budget and business goals. Whether it's figuring out the best way to structure their cyber team or helping them communicate more effectively with leadership, we provide the guidance and support needed to build cyber resilience and drive business growth. We support our clients by working across five key areas:

  • Cyber Strategy: Providing guidance and support to executives by developing cyber security strategies for their organisation.
  • Cyber Transformation Management: Developing programmes to improve clients’ cyber security.
  • Cyber Governance & Compliance: Helping clients to stay compliant with the latest cyber regulations and guidance.
  • Privacy Governance & Compliance: Understanding clients’ current risk factors and helping them to implement new privacy strategies.
  • Digital Trust & Online Protection: Ensuring that new technologies consider user privacy and that clients can use them to interact with their customers in an ethical way.

What skills and academic qualifications do I need?

You’ll need to have obtained or be studying towards a minimum 2:1 in any degree discipline and have graduated by September 2026 for the Autumn 2026 intake.

What kind of work will I do?

Whether you get involved in the strategic or technical side of Cyber (or both!) you’ll be working on all kinds of challenging projects to keep clients safe, secure, and one step ahead. You will develop skills to establish, run and manage projects, directly advise clients, and solve complex problems to deliver quality results.You will have the opportunity to work with a range of teams across a broad range of industries, helping clients to navigate periods of change and complexity, build resilience against a diverse set of strategic, operational and technology risks, and make informed risk decisions to grow their business, manage disruption, and preserve their brand.Tasks will vary across each project, but will include (and are not limited to):

  • Developing presentations to communicate insights
  • Project management tasks, such as scheduling meetings and taking minutes, tracking deadlines, and preparing materials
  • Understanding our clients’ requirements and proposing solutions to address these
  • Organising and analysing data, creating reports
  • Conducting research for our team
  • Reading contracts and documents.

There are additional opportunities to get involved in wider activities such as supporting the delivery of our people strategy, being involved in the graduate induction, or helping out with our other practice management areas. The scope to build out your career goes as far as you want it to.

Where will I work?

At Deloitte we recognise how important face-to-face interaction is for your development in a new role. We also understand that our people need flexibility, which is why we operate a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working. If you’re in a client-facing role, you might be expected to attend client sites on certain days, while your meetings will be a mix of online and in-person events.
