Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship – Property Management (London)

An opportunity to join our London Property Management team, gaining hands‑on experience and building your career as a Surveyor.

  • Role title: Apprentice Surveyor – Property Management
  • Location: London (33 Margaret Street, W1G 0JD or 15 Finsbury Circus House, EC2M 7EB)
  • Salary: £24,000 + £1,000 sign on bonus
  • Start Date: Monday 7th September 2026

About the team:

This role will support the management of our diverse Central London portfolio, covering a mix of offices, industrial and iconic London estates. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in property while gaining hands‑on experience in one of the most dynamic and fast‑paced markets in the UK.

You’ll receive full training and exposure to the daily operations of property management - learning to balance client expectations, occupier requirements, contractor coordination, and compliance across some of the most in-demand locations.

Day to day duties:

  • Support the management of communal areas and building facilities across our managed sites
  • Carry out regular property inspections and address issues identified
  • Help monitor service delivery standards for service partners including cleaners, security staff, and maintenance teams
  • Maintain accurate property files and digital records
  • Draft and issue correspondence, notices, and reports
  • Keep tenancy agreements, compliance documentation, and inspection records up to date
  • Prepare information for audits, inspections, or client reporting
  • Assist with service charge administration, budgeting, invoice processing and reconciliation
  • Respond promptly to tenant enquiries, complaints, and service requests
  • Monitor rent payments or service charge arrears and support recovery processes
  • Provide financial reports and updates where required
  • Build strong relationships with service partners, operations teams and occupiers to ensure high levels of satisfaction

Training:

On the job training is provided to ensure all the required knowledge and experience is obtained throughout the apprenticeship to qualify successfully.

5 year training programme (Level 6 Apprenticeship), which includes a part time undergraduate degree (4 years) and an APC training programme (2 years, enrolled at the beginning of your 3rd year at University) leading to qualification as a Chartered Surveyor (RICS).

Once you've successfully passed your APC and become a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, you'll continue to receive training and career development opportunities.

We will provide the full suite of Savills training programme including mandatory health and safety and office training, as well as specific training relevant to your role.

We ensure that your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is current and that all staff are fully up to date with changes to legislation and business needs.

Working Week:

Five full days in the office, working hours 9:00am to 5:30pm. One of these days each week will be dedicated to apprenticeship studies whilst in the office.

Assessment for this role:

  • Screening call (between Monday 9th March – Friday 13th March)

Entry requirements:

GCSE English and Maths at Level 4 (Grade C) or above is a mandatory requirement and you may not apply if you are currently studying for or already have a degree. You will also need a minimum of 96 UCAS points.

You must be eligible to live, work and remain in the UK, within 1 hour’s commute of the office you are applying to.
